Ninth Island is a small island off Northern Tasmania near Piper's Brook Wineries Tamar Valley and Pipers River vineyards.

Deep burgundy
Smells
Woody slightly earthy. Blossomy. Red fruits, strawberries, cherry and hints of sweet spice and cloves.
Taste
Bold, with well rounded tanins. More red fruit although a little more tangy almost citrusy on the pallete.
Conclusion
A very good and enjoyable wine, fruity but not too heavy.
